Top 10 Food Kiosks at Walt Disney World

I love to snack around at Walt Disney World, sometimes even more than having a full meal. Throughout Walt Disney World’s parks, resorts, and Disney Springs you can find some amazing food at the kiosks and walk up windows.  Here are 10 of my favorites:

10. Any Epcot Festival Kiosk

With four Festivals on the annual calendar for Epcot, most of the days that you might visit will find World Showcase (and some parts of Future World) filled with delicious food kiosks.  The International Festival of the Arts fills January and February with food booths that are not only delicious, but beautiful—some of the most unique of the festival food offerings.  Spring welcomes the Flower & Garden Festival (my personal favorite) when the kiosks focus on farm fresh dishes.  After the summer break, the most popular Food & Wine Festival presents us with multiple booths that feature food and drink particular to a certain country, or following a theme like cheese or cooked in a fire.  The year wraps up with the International Festival of the Holidays where holiday foods from around the world are featured at the booths.

9. Liberty Square Market, Magic Kingdom

The Liberty Square Market is located outside, and has the feel of a colonial market to fit into the Liberty Square theme.  Here you will find all kinds of snack foods that are healthy and refreshing on a hot summer day like fruits and veggies.  But after 11am they begin serving hot foods like Turkey Legs, Mickey Pretzels, and Hot Dogs.  The grilled hot dogs here are a big draw.

8. AristoCrepes, Disney Springs

With so many great food options at Disney Springs, sometimes you want to just sample and share a few things here and there.  While the menu can change seasonally, the AristoCrepes stand has some delicious options.  Savory Crepes include a ham and cheese option, and a beef with spinach and cheddar.  Sweet crepes offered are a S’mores version, a banana and chocolate-hazelnut, and a strawberry.  And the also have the trendy bubble waffles—a salted caramel and a strawberry.  AristoCrepes is a great place to stop for a quick “brunch” while you shop at Disney Springs.

7. Choza de Margarita, Epcot’s Mexico

If you are looking for Choza de Margarita or “the margarita stand” in Mexico, just look for the long line!  This very popular kiosk is best known for its drinks—margaritas on the rocks and frozen margaritas.  Both definitely hit the spot on a hot day.  But, the also offer tacos, empanadas, tostados, guacamole, and spicy corn.  Whether you are looking for food or drink (or both), Choza de Margarita is a great stop while you are touring the World Showcase.

6. 8 Spoon Café, Animal Kingdom

In a park filled with great restaurants and delicious food, the 8 Spoon Café kiosk on the bridge from Discovery Island to Asia is one of my favorite spots.  It is a great combination of comfort food, Baked Mac & Cheese with delicious toppings like pulled pork and shrimp with sweet chili sauce.  The hours for this walk up window are limited, so if you catch it open you’ll want to stop—it is worth it!

5. Refreshment Port, Epcot

At the entrance to the World Showcase near Canada is a walk up window that offers some very good food.  Usually there is a seasonal item on the menu that corresponds to the current Festival taking place in Epcot, along with the more permanent menu options.  And here that menu reflects the location near Canada with a couple of different poutine dishes.  There is a traditional poutine with French Fries, Beef Gravy, and Cheese Curds, and a Beef Brisket Poutine (French Fries with Beef Brisket, Beer-Cheese Sauce and Poutine Gravy topped with Crispy Onions).

4. Sleepy Hollow, Magic Kingdom

The menu at Sleepy Hollow (located just over the bridge from the Castle Hub going into Liberty Square) goes through changes periodically, but it remains a fan favorite because of the waffles.  It is almost like a Forrest Gump scene about waffles:  there’s a waffle with powdered sugar, a waffle with strawberries, a egg and cheese waffle sandwich, a fresh fruit waffle sandwich with chocolate-hazelnut, a sweet and spicy chicken waffle sandwich . . . and then there are funnel cakes.  I love eating at Sleepy Hollow—it is always freshly prepared and so good . . . and there is usually a line to prove it. The nice thing here is that although it is a walk up window there is a nice covered seating area around the corner.

3. Aloha Isle, Magic Kingdom

No list of food kiosks would be complete without a nod to the Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland.  Of course this is the home to the iconic Disney Dessert:  The Dole Whip.  My personal favorite version is the Float.  At Aloha Isle you can also get the Pineapple Upside Down Cake, and the very now, very Instagrammable Hei Hei Cone.

2. Pongu Pongu, Animal Kingdom

The snack kiosk in Pandora at Animal Kingdom, Pongu Pongu, serves up some really great drinks (if you haven’t tried the Night Blossom you must), but also one of my favorite desserts in Animal Kingdom:  Pongu Lumpia.  The Pongu Lumpia is a Pineapple Cream Cheese Spring Roll—what is not to love about that combination of ingredients?  During the day you can also get a pretzel here, and if you are in Pandora bright & early to try to minimize your wait for Flight of Passage, you can grab some breakfast here with French Toast Sticks or a Sausage and Egg Biscuit.

1. Disney Springs Food Trucks

Anywhere you go Food Trucks are a huge draw for their unique takes on various types of cuisine, and Walt Disney World is no exception.  Over at Disney Springs you can find several food trucks serving up some great dishes.   There are three “Disney” Food Trucks, along with the 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Truck.  Each one has some unique takes on the foods they serve:

• Fantasy Fare offers Chicken & Waffles with Zesty Maple Syrup
• Spring Street Taco Truck offers bowls with Steak, Chicken, Fish or Veggies
• The Mac & Cheese truck is on my list with Chicken Parmesan Mac & Cheese, Bacon Cheeseburger Mac & Chees, and Barbecue Brisket Mac & Cheese
• 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa has some amazing options with a Taco Cone, Squash Blossom Quesadilla and more with filling choices like Sofrita, Tri-Tip Steak, Chicken Tinga, and Brisket Barbacoa.
